National Open Scrabble Championship on October 29-30, 2011 at RBAP Conference Hall.

Mohammad Bin Abdul Suma, a fifteen year old student from Taguig National High School, won the fifth leg of the National Scrabble Championship held last July 30 and 31, 2O11 at the Rural Bankers Association of the Philippines {RBAP) Conference Room, in lntramuros, Manila. Suma won fourteen out of sixteen games. He placed 8th in the World Youth Scrabble Championship held last year at the Great Eastern Hotel, Quezon City. This was announced by Robbie Onate,President of the Scrabble Association of the Philippines. Although, Odette Rio of lloilo, won the first three leg of the said Championship which were held earlier, by virtue of the best three finishes, Rio will represent the Philippines in the World Scrabble Championship to be held this November 2011 in Poland. There will be scrabble tournaments every last Saturday of the month and on October 29 and 30,2011, the National Open Scrabble Championship will be held at RBAP Conference Hall.
