(RBRDFI), in partnership with Agricultural Guarantee Fund Pool (AGFP), a program of the Department of Agriculture (DA) that encourages financial institutions and other credit conduits to lend to small farmers and fisher folk, will be conducting:

Target Banks

This 1.5 day orientation is in line with the concern that some RBAP member banks have not yet accessed AGFP services and that many still lack
confidence to extend agricultural loans to SFFs. Thus, it is envisioned that through this orientation a better understanding of AGFP and best practices on agri-lending among banks would mitigate the risk associated in lending to the agricultural sector, likewise address the need for
access to credit.

In this regard, we would like to invite you to attend and actively
participate in the said activity. Rural banks with CAMELS 3 rating or better are highly encouraged to attend.
