THE RESIDENTIAL FREE PATENT ACT OF 2010
As earlier advised, the CTB Professional Development Committee (headed by CTB Trustee Eric Mondragon), in cooperation with the Foundation for Economic Freedom (FEF) will conduct a second run of the highly informative training program on “Land Disposition and Titling/Implementation of the Residential Free Patent Act of 2010” on June 10 (Friday), for the benefit of our member banks with head offices and branches in Luzon.
This training program aims to help Thrift Bankers with the process of titling residential lands under RA 10023 with the objective of facilitating the titling process for faster and easier access to funds as a means to improve the economic condition of residential free patent titleholders. The basic concepts in land ownership will be discussed in the process.
Target Participants:
Officers and frontline staff that directly deal with the transacting public, viz:
- · Front desk officers
· Loan officers
· Title investigators
· Management officers
· Special titling assistance officers
Competencies:
At the end of the training, the participants should have a level of competency necessary to be able to assist clients in understanding and following procedures in processing Residential Free Patent applications. He/She should have a clear understanding of key concepts as well as identification and preparation of documentary requirements for:
- · Conduct and approval of survey
· Collection and collation of documentary requirements
· Processing of clearances and certifications
· Accomplishment of application and other forms
· Approval of Residential Free Patent
· Titling and Registration
· Thrift Bank Loan application
· Other after-titling economic activities
