RBRDFI ties up with Pangasinan and CARAGA Feds. for Microinsurance Training Course

The Rural Bankers Research and Development Foundation, Inc.  will be conducting the 2-Day Basic Microinsurance Training Course with the following federations:

Basic Microinsurance Training includes the following topics:

• Financial risks and Risk-Coping Mechanisms

• Fundamentals of Insurance and Microinsurance

• Microinsurance Regulations: Ensuring regulatory compliance by rural banks

• Effective Marketing of Microinsurance

 

To date, RBRDFI has already trained 16 batches with 168 Rural Banks and 354 Rural Bank Staff. 4 Rural Banks are now authorized by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas to act as Microinsurance Agents  with more than 60 rural banks in the different stages of the licensing process.

Federations who are interested to host the Basic Microinsurance Training need only to form a group of minimum 10 rural banks with each RB represented by at least two staff. The host federation will determine the registration fee to cover venue, meals and other administrative requirements. RBDRFI will cover for the trainers’ fee and may refer the federations to possible sponsorship.
