Circular Letter No. 086, removing 8 banks from the U.N. Sanctions List

To all banking and financial institutions under the supervision of the BSP, please be informed that CL No. O86, pursuant to the Anti Money Laundering Council Resolution No. 119, hereby removes 8 banking institutions from the Al-Qaida Sanctions List, based on the approval of the United National Security Council Committee.  Under the new law, as stipulated, “asset freeze, travel ban and arms embargo…no longer applies to them.” cl086
