2011 RBAP National Convention -May 25-26 SMX Convention Center

The Rural Bankers Association of the Philippines will hold its 58th Annual National Convention and Corporate Meeting on May 25 and 26, 2011 (Wed. & Thu.) at the SMX Convention Center Function Halls 3 and 4, Seashell Lane, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

The theme for this year’s gathering “Banking on best practices: A sure way to success” focuses on the best banking practices as shared by fellow rural bankers in instituting good corporate governance, prudent management and compliance in banking rules and regulations to attain good asset quality, profitability and growth.

We want to focus on building concrete foundations and standards that we can all abide with to ensure that each of our banks are part of a network of strong rural banks under the RBAP umbrella.

For this national gathering, we have invited speakers and resource persons representing the regulators and policy makers, foreign-funded development projects / programs, local and foreign fund sources and technical service providers. The members will also update on the progress, opportunities and challenges encountered by the rural banks.

We have invited sponsors to exhibit their products and services relevant to our banks.

Please provide ample time to be able to go through these booths before and after the convention activities. Let us see the new products and technologies applicable to our respective banks.

Prices for products such as passbook printers, computers, bill counters, etc. and services will be especially discounted during the convention period.
