SUBJECT: Notice of Extension of "Tulong Barya Para sa Eskwela" Campaign of BSP

This is to inform you that the “Tulong Barya Para Sa Eskwela” campaign of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has been extended until December 2006. The extension of the campaign period will allow more time for rural/ cooperative banks to generate awareness and interest for this program in their respective locations.
We are advising all member-banks to continue their solicitation drive for donations from their depositors and the general public. Also, the suggested procedure and mechanism for collecting the donations/ contributions as was previously communicated via a letter-announcement about this campaign remain to be applicable.
We are enjoining you to support this very laudable program of the BSP.
