According to the article published in the Philippine Star Business Section on March 28, 2005 by Mr. Ted Torres, 12 non-life insurance firms continue to operate outside Metro Manila despite the CDO issued by the Insurance Commission (IC). The public is warned to stop dealing with these insurers and report their illegal activities. (Insurance Commision hotline: 523-8462 to 70)
All rural banks are advised to avoid doing business with the following non-life insurance companies with Cease and Desist Order as of February 11, 2005:

The board in its meeting last December 9, 2004 approved the attached Resolution amending the RBAP By-Laws particularly Article III (letters a2, b and d).
Your cooperation is requested by the Board to explain to all federation presidents, leaders and officers as well as their members in order to obtain their collective support to ratify the same Resolution No. 33 FY 2004-2005 in the forthcoming National Convention Plenary Session this April or May 2005.
